Technological Advancement

Well, it's not really advancement. Just a movement. I downloaded Google Chrome onto my netbook. It's a lot nicer. I was using Firefox before and the browser itself took up half the screen. Chrome is smaller, so I can actually see most of my window. The netbook is only 10.1" diagonally, so having 1" taken up instead of 3" is really nice. Also, its faster, so my farmville doesn't lag. lol.

Also, I have utilized the sound recorded on my cell phone. My ringtone is now "ring ring ring! ring ring ring! phone call! phone call!" From the 2nd (?) episode of Pokemon. Also, my text tone is now the PokeCenter healing tune. "Do do dodo do!" Yay! Coupled with my pikachu charm hanging on my phone, I am now one of the nerdier telecommunicators. hehe.

The Legend of the Shadowless Sword

So, I did not do much today. I did my laundry, and ate some soft squishy food. Played some pokemon and watched a movie.

Pokemon is awesome and everyone should know that, so I'll review the movie.

The Legend of the Shadowless Sword is a Korean period action movie. It was pretty awesome. The main characters were noble and heroic and cool. I didn't really understand the history of it, but I guess I don't know much about ancient Korea. I don't even know if it's historically based, but it kind of seemed like it. There was a strong female ass-kicking character, and a redeemable exiled prince and antagonists with depth.

I recommend it. The blood was a little weird. It was red powder that burst from them like it would in a comical movie, but it wasn't comical. Less distracting than realistic blood, though.

Also, there are a shit ton of throwing stars. Seriously, they must keep bags of them under their clothes because they can keep whipping them out for over ten minutes.

Teeth update: my gums taste gross. they're not hurting too bad, though. The ibuprofin is enough to keep the pain down, so there's been no need for the narcotics.

Dork post

Ok, so I was trying to make this blog enjoyable for anyone who reads it, but I am so excited that I have to share this: I caught a shiny Spearow on LeafGreen today.

For those who don't know what the heck a Spearow is, let alone what a shiny Spearow is, a Spearow is a Pokemon. Normally Spearow are red. But once in a great while (as in, almost never), some wild pokemon in the games are "shiny" meaning they are a different color. My Spearow is yellow.

This is the second time I have found a shiny pokemon. The only other time was about 4 years ago, when I was playing Pokemon Silver and I saw a shiny Mareep, but I didn't know what it was. I thought it was a glitch, and in Pokemon, I've learned to not catch glitches.

But Woohoo! Shiny Spearow. Life is good.
